Convert Gram to Decagram
Unit definitions
Gram
$\frac{1}{10^{3}}$ of a kilogram is a gram.
Decagram
$10^{1}$ grams is a decagram.
How to convert Gram to Decagram
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = \frac{\text{Mass}_{\text{g}}}{10}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $20.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{dag}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = \frac{20.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 2$$
$$\therefore \ 20.0\ \text{g} = 2 \ \text{dag}$$
Example 2
Convert $65.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{dag}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = \frac{65.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 6.5$$
$$\therefore \ 65.0\ \text{g} = 6.5 \ \text{dag}$$
Example 3
Convert $115.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{dag}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = \frac{115.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 11.5$$
$$\therefore \ 115.0\ \text{g} = 11.5 \ \text{dag}$$
Example 4
Convert $130.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{dag}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = \frac{130.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 13$$
$$\therefore \ 130.0\ \text{g} = 13 \ \text{dag}$$
Example 5
Convert $180.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{dag}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = \frac{180.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 18$$
$$\therefore \ 180.0\ \text{g} = 18 \ \text{dag}$$
