Convert Hectogram to Decagram
Unit definitions
Hectogram
$10^{2}$ grams is a hectogram.
Decagram
$10^{1}$ grams is a decagram.
How to convert Hectogram to Decagram
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = \text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} \cdot 10$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $50.0\ \text{hg}$ to $\text{dag}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 50.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 500$$
$$\therefore \ 50.0\ \text{hg} = 500 \ \text{dag}$$
Example 2
Convert $65.0\ \text{hg}$ to $\text{dag}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 65.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 650$$
$$\therefore \ 65.0\ \text{hg} = 650 \ \text{dag}$$
Example 3
Convert $120.0\ \text{hg}$ to $\text{dag}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 120.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 1200$$
$$\therefore \ 120.0\ \text{hg} = 1200 \ \text{dag}$$
Example 4
Convert $140.0\ \text{hg}$ to $\text{dag}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 140.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 1400$$
$$\therefore \ 140.0\ \text{hg} = 1400 \ \text{dag}$$
Example 5
Convert $165.0\ \text{hg}$ to $\text{dag}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 165.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}} = 1650$$
$$\therefore \ 165.0\ \text{hg} = 1650 \ \text{dag}$$
