Convert Hectogram to Decigram
Unit definitions
Hectogram
$10^{2}$ grams is a hectogram.
Decigram
$\frac{1}{10^{1}}$ of a gram is a decigram.
How to convert Hectogram to Decigram
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = \text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} \cdot 1000$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $40.0\ \text{hg}$ to $\text{dg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 40.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 40000$$
$$\therefore \ 40.0\ \text{hg} = 40000 \ \text{dg}$$
Example 2
Convert $60.0\ \text{hg}$ to $\text{dg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 60.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 60000$$
$$\therefore \ 60.0\ \text{hg} = 60000 \ \text{dg}$$
Example 3
Convert $100.0\ \text{hg}$ to $\text{dg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 100.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 100000$$
$$\therefore \ 100.0\ \text{hg} = 100000 \ \text{dg}$$
Example 4
Convert $140.0\ \text{hg}$ to $\text{dg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 140.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 140000$$
$$\therefore \ 140.0\ \text{hg} = 140000 \ \text{dg}$$
Example 5
Convert $200.0\ \text{hg}$ to $\text{dg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 200.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 200000$$
$$\therefore \ 200.0\ \text{hg} = 200000 \ \text{dg}$$
