How to convert Milligram to Carat
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ct}} = \frac{\text{Mass}_{\text{mg}}}{200}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $25.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{ct}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ct}} = \frac{25.0}{200}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ct}} = 0.125$$
$$\therefore \ 25.0\ \text{mg} = 0.125 \ \text{ct}$$
Example 2
Convert $60.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{ct}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ct}} = \frac{60.0}{200}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ct}} = 0.3$$
$$\therefore \ 60.0\ \text{mg} = 0.3 \ \text{ct}$$
Example 3
Convert $120.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{ct}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ct}} = \frac{120.0}{200}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ct}} = 0.6$$
$$\therefore \ 120.0\ \text{mg} = 0.6 \ \text{ct}$$
Example 4
Convert $140.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{ct}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ct}} = \frac{140.0}{200}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ct}} = 0.7$$
$$\therefore \ 140.0\ \text{mg} = 0.7 \ \text{ct}$$
Example 5
Convert $190.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{ct}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ct}} = \frac{190.0}{200}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ct}} = 0.95$$
$$\therefore \ 190.0\ \text{mg} = 0.95 \ \text{ct}$$
