How to convert Milligram to Gram

Examples
Example 1
Convert $40.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{g}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{40.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 0.04$$
$$\therefore \ 40.0\ \text{mg} = 0.04 \ \text{g}$$
Example 2
Convert $75.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{g}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{75.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 0.075$$
$$\therefore \ 75.0\ \text{mg} = 0.075 \ \text{g}$$
Example 3
Convert $100.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{g}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{100.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 0.1$$
$$\therefore \ 100.0\ \text{mg} = 0.1 \ \text{g}$$
Example 4
Convert $145.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{g}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{145.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 0.145$$
$$\therefore \ 145.0\ \text{mg} = 0.145 \ \text{g}$$
Example 5
Convert $170.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{g}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{170.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 0.17$$
$$\therefore \ 170.0\ \text{mg} = 0.17 \ \text{g}$$
