Example 1
Convert $30.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{30.0}{100000}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 0.0003$$
$$\therefore \ 30.0\ \text{mg} = 0.0003 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 2
Convert $75.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{75.0}{100000}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 0.00075$$
$$\therefore \ 75.0\ \text{mg} = 0.00075 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 3
Convert $100.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{100.0}{100000}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 0.001$$
$$\therefore \ 100.0\ \text{mg} = 0.001 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 4
Convert $140.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{140.0}{100000}$$

Example 5
