Convert Millisecond to Nanosecond
Unit definitions
Millisecond
$\frac{1}{10^{3}}$ of a second is a millisecond.
Nanosecond
$\frac{1}{10^{9}}$ of a second is a nanosecond.
How to convert Millisecond to Nanosecond
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = \text{Time}_{\text{ms}} \cdot {10}^{6}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $40.0\ \text{ms}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 40.0 \cdot {10}^{6}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 40000000$$
$$\therefore \ 40.0\ \text{ms} = 40000000 \ \text{ns}$$
Example 2
Convert $90.0\ \text{ms}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 90.0 \cdot {10}^{6}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 90000000$$
$$\therefore \ 90.0\ \text{ms} = 90000000 \ \text{ns}$$
Example 3
Convert $120.0\ \text{ms}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 120.0 \cdot {10}^{6}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 120000000$$
$$\therefore \ 120.0\ \text{ms} = 120000000 \ \text{ns}$$
Example 4
Convert $135.0\ \text{ms}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 135.0 \cdot {10}^{6}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 135000000$$
$$\therefore \ 135.0\ \text{ms} = 135000000 \ \text{ns}$$
Example 5
Convert $195.0\ \text{ms}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 195.0 \cdot {10}^{6}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 195000000$$
$$\therefore \ 195.0\ \text{ms} = 195000000 \ \text{ns}$$
