Convert Nanosecond to Microsecond
Unit definitions
Nanosecond
$\frac{1}{10^{9}}$ of a second is a nanosecond.
Microsecond
$\frac{1}{10^{6}}$ of a second is a microsecond.
How to convert Nanosecond to Microsecond
$$\text{Time}_{\text{μs}} = \frac{\text{Time}_{\text{ns}}}{{10}^{3}}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $25.0\ \text{ns}$ to $\text{μs}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{μs}} = \frac{25.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{μs}} = 0.025$$
$$\therefore \ 25.0\ \text{ns} = 0.025 \ \text{μs}$$
Example 2
Convert $75.0\ \text{ns}$ to $\text{μs}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{μs}} = \frac{75.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{μs}} = 0.075$$
$$\therefore \ 75.0\ \text{ns} = 0.075 \ \text{μs}$$
Example 3
Convert $105.0\ \text{ns}$ to $\text{μs}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{μs}} = \frac{105.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{μs}} = 0.105$$
$$\therefore \ 105.0\ \text{ns} = 0.105 \ \text{μs}$$
Example 4
Convert $150.0\ \text{ns}$ to $\text{μs}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{μs}} = \frac{150.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{μs}} = 0.15$$
$$\therefore \ 150.0\ \text{ns} = 0.15 \ \text{μs}$$
Example 5
Convert $170.0\ \text{ns}$ to $\text{μs}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{μs}} = \frac{170.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{μs}} = 0.17$$
$$\therefore \ 170.0\ \text{ns} = 0.17 \ \text{μs}$$
