Convert Second to Day
Unit definitions
Second
The second is the SI base unit of time. A second is defined as the duration of $9\,192\,631\,770$ periods of the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the caesium-133 atom.
Day
A timespan of $24$ hours is a day. It is equal to $86\,400$ ($60 \times 60 \times 24$) seconds.
How to convert Second to Day
$$\text{Time}_{\text{d}} = \frac{\text{Time}_{\text{s}}}{86400}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $20.0\ \text{s}$ to $\text{d}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{d}} = \frac{20.0}{86400}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{d}} = 0.000231$$
$$\therefore \ 20.0\ \text{s} = 0.000231 \ \text{d}$$
Example 2
Convert $60.0\ \text{s}$ to $\text{d}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{d}} = \frac{60.0}{86400}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{d}} = 0.000694$$
$$\therefore \ 60.0\ \text{s} = 0.000694 \ \text{d}$$
Example 3
Convert $110.0\ \text{s}$ to $\text{d}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{d}} = \frac{110.0}{86400}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{d}} = 0.001273$$
$$\therefore \ 110.0\ \text{s} = 0.001273 \ \text{d}$$
Example 4
Convert $130.0\ \text{s}$ to $\text{d}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{d}} = \frac{130.0}{86400}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{d}} = 0.001505$$
$$\therefore \ 130.0\ \text{s} = 0.001505 \ \text{d}$$
Example 5
Convert $180.0\ \text{s}$ to $\text{d}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{d}} = \frac{180.0}{86400}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{d}} = 0.002083$$
$$\therefore \ 180.0\ \text{s} = 0.002083 \ \text{d}$$
