Convert Liter to Cubic meter
Unit definitions
Liter
The liter is a metric unit of volume equal to $1$ cubic decimeter (i.e., $10^{3}$ cubic centimeters). It is approximately equal to the mass of $1\ \text{kg}$ of water at room temperature.
Cubic meter
The cubic meter is the volume of a cube with edges exactly $1$ meter in length. It is the unit of volume in SI.
How to convert Liter to Cubic meter
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{m³}} = \frac{\text{Volume}_{\text{l}}}{1000}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $45.0\ \text{l}$ to $\text{m³}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{m³}} = \frac{45.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{m³}} = 0.045$$
$$\therefore \ 45.0\ \text{l} = 0.045 \ \text{m³}$$
Example 2
Convert $80.0\ \text{l}$ to $\text{m³}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{m³}} = \frac{80.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{m³}} = 0.08$$
$$\therefore \ 80.0\ \text{l} = 0.08 \ \text{m³}$$
Example 3
Convert $120.0\ \text{l}$ to $\text{m³}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{m³}} = \frac{120.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{m³}} = 0.12$$
$$\therefore \ 120.0\ \text{l} = 0.12 \ \text{m³}$$
Example 4
Convert $140.0\ \text{l}$ to $\text{m³}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{m³}} = \frac{140.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{m³}} = 0.14$$
$$\therefore \ 140.0\ \text{l} = 0.14 \ \text{m³}$$
Example 5
Convert $195.0\ \text{l}$ to $\text{m³}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{m³}} = \frac{195.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{m³}} = 0.195$$
$$\therefore \ 195.0\ \text{l} = 0.195 \ \text{m³}$$
