Convert Grade to Radian
Unit definitions
Grade
A grade is defined as $\frac{1}{400}$ of a revolution. It is also known as the gon or the gradian.
Radian
The radian is the unit of angle in the SI. A full circle is $2\pi$ radians, where $\pi$ is approximately $3.141\,592\,653\,589\,793$.
How to convert Grade to Radian
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{rad}} = \frac{\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}}}{200} \cdot 3.141592653589793$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $35.0\ \text{grad}$ to $\text{rad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{rad}} = \frac{35.0}{200} \cdot 3.141592653589793$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{rad}} = 0.549779$$
$$\therefore \ 35.0\ \text{grad} = 0.549779 \ \text{rad}$$
Example 2
Convert $70.0\ \text{grad}$ to $\text{rad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{rad}} = \frac{70.0}{200} \cdot 3.141592653589793$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{rad}} = 1.099557$$
$$\therefore \ 70.0\ \text{grad} = 1.099557 \ \text{rad}$$
Example 3
Convert $110.0\ \text{grad}$ to $\text{rad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{rad}} = \frac{110.0}{200} \cdot 3.141592653589793$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{rad}} = 1.727876$$
$$\therefore \ 110.0\ \text{grad} = 1.727876 \ \text{rad}$$
Example 4
Convert $130.0\ \text{grad}$ to $\text{rad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{rad}} = \frac{130.0}{200} \cdot 3.141592653589793$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{rad}} = 2.042035$$
$$\therefore \ 130.0\ \text{grad} = 2.042035 \ \text{rad}$$
Example 5
Convert $160.0\ \text{grad}$ to $\text{rad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{rad}} = \frac{160.0}{200} \cdot 3.141592653589793$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{rad}} = 2.513274$$
$$\therefore \ 160.0\ \text{grad} = 2.513274 \ \text{rad}$$
