Convert Newton to Decinewton

Unit definitions

Newton

The newton is the SI unit of force. It is the force required to accelerate a mass of one kilogram at a rate of one meter per second squared.

Decinewton

${10}^{-1}$ newtons equal one decinewton.

How to convert Newton to Decinewton

$$\text{Force}_{\text{dN}} = \text{Force}_{\text{N}} \cdot {10}^{1}$$

Examples

Example 1

Convert $50.0\ \text{N}$ to $\text{dN}$.

$$\text{Force}_{\text{dN}} = 50.0 \cdot {10}^{1}$$

$$\text{Force}_{\text{dN}} = 500$$

$$\therefore \ 50.0\ \text{N} = 500 \ \text{dN}$$

Example 2

Convert $65.0\ \text{N}$ to $\text{dN}$.

$$\text{Force}_{\text{dN}} = 65.0 \cdot {10}^{1}$$

$$\text{Force}_{\text{dN}} = 650$$

$$\therefore \ 65.0\ \text{N} = 650 \ \text{dN}$$

Example 3

Convert $105.0\ \text{N}$ to $\text{dN}$.

$$\text{Force}_{\text{dN}} = 105.0 \cdot {10}^{1}$$

$$\text{Force}_{\text{dN}} = 1050$$

$$\therefore \ 105.0\ \text{N} = 1050 \ \text{dN}$$

Example 4

Convert $130.0\ \text{N}$ to $\text{dN}$.

$$\text{Force}_{\text{dN}} = 130.0 \cdot {10}^{1}$$

$$\text{Force}_{\text{dN}} = 1300$$

$$\therefore \ 130.0\ \text{N} = 1300 \ \text{dN}$$

Example 5

Convert $190.0\ \text{N}$ to $\text{dN}$.

$$\text{Force}_{\text{dN}} = 190.0 \cdot {10}^{1}$$

$$\text{Force}_{\text{dN}} = 1900$$

$$\therefore \ 190.0\ \text{N} = 1900 \ \text{dN}$$
